Entry # 027 Jeff Murrell
Brought up in Magnolia, New Jersey, Jeffrey A. Murrell began singing at age 5. As he progressed as a solo artist, he was called on by many gospel greats from Rizen to Pastor John P. Kee to perform for different occasions. Murrell performs in front of 15 to 20 thousand people per month in a variety of venues. With the guidance of his experience as a recording artist, Murrell became CEO of J-Allen Productions Inc. In addition to being a performing gospel artist, Jeff Murrell is also a songwriter, producer and vocal instructor.
Entry#026 Nancey Jackson
Celebrating over a decade of music ministry, Nancey Jackson Johnson embarks on a fresh new season. In 2009, she received a Stellar Award nomination for Traditional Vocalist, and in 2000 she was a Contemporary Female Vocalist Stellar Nominee. Ordained and licensed to preach in 2003 Jackson conducted workshops and have served as choir director. She and her husband produced Praise 732, which is an open mic worship experience. Minister Nancey Jackson Johnson is a nationally known artist with a signature voice and a 4 octave range. Born the youngest of six children in Newark, NJ to minister parents, she began singing in her family’s church choir at age 6. Jackson is a diverse multi-recording artist who embraces a multitude of styles from praise and worship to traditional gospel to jazz. She has ministered with many gospel greats from Donnie McClurkin to Albertina Walker, and continues to share her talent in a variety of venues locally and abroad.
Entry #025 Johnnie Vaughan Jr.
Pastor and Founder of Calvary Christian Fellowship Ministries in Trenton, NJ, Bishop Johnnie Vaughan Jr. shares a unique blend of traditional with a twist of contemporary gospel music that lifts the spirit. He is known as strong psalmist with a mellow tenor to high alto range. Bishop Vaughan was an original member of the group Devoted, and was a musical guest on the Bishop’s Choir of Grace Cathedral Fellowship Ministries projects, on Jeff Murrell’s Destiny cd, and on Bishop David G. Evan’s Healed without Scars project. On March 2006, Pastor Vaughan released his first solo project Purpose, highlighting his musical abilities and talents, and his multi-dimensional style of singing. Helping musicians and artists realize their purpose in God for decades, Bishop Vaughan has worked with many gospel greats from The Anointed Pace Sisters to Kirk Franklin. He continues to minister both locally and abroad.

Pastor and Founder of the Abundant Life Healing Fellowship Church in west Philadelphia, Steven Walker has produced four gospel music projects. He is founder and CEO of Steven Walker Ministries, and has been a pastor for over 14 years. Relentless in his leadership and his commitment to the 21st century evangelism, Pastor Walker keeps the mission of rebuilding lives through fellowship and the word of God at the forefront. Walker has authored 10 books, served as executive producer of theatrical stage productions, as a college graduate course lecturer and motivational speaker, and has host of his own telecast on the TBN Network. Steven Walker continues to minister both locally and abroad.

Philadelphian Conrad Miller was born for traditional gospel music. He got his start in the music industry as the songwriter for a moderate R&B hit by in the 70’s. Since then, Miller has been dedicated strictly to gospel music. Miller sings gospel quartet influenced inspirational tunes which are played on gospel radio stations nationally. Wanting something positive to come of the sudden and untimely death of his 16 year old daughter, Miller donates a portion of the sales of his project to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention organization. Miller remains true to the classic gospel sound of years gone by that is rarely heard in today’s music, and his lyrics are grounded in his personal faith in God as both our salvation and consolation.
Entry # 022 Gillian Grannum
Philadelphia native Gillian Grannum has been involved with music for several years as a bassist, pianist, choir director and songwriter. At New Covenant Church in Philadelphia, Grannum served as assistant minister of music and director of Chosen Generation young adult ensemble. Grannum toured internationally as a bassist with new Spirit Agape, an all female gospel ensemble, performing in many countries like France, Germany, and Belgium. Grannum is pursuing a Masters of divinity in worship, Theology and the Arts. She has directed, arranged, and produced many gospel recording projects, and desires that her music be experienced as soul food that not only pleases the ear, but nourishes the heart and feeds the spirit.

Philadelphia native Minister John Larry Graham’s eldest brother Rev. Dan Graham started him playing the guitar in 1968. As the years went on, his love for music grew; as he was anointed by God to be a worshipper. Minister John Larry Graham plays the bass guitar, compiled many songs, and have played for and toured with many groups like Christlike and Alicia Robey and Friends. He continues to minister both locally and abroad.
Entry # 021 Donovan Adams and the Mighty Spiritualaires
Organized under the leadership of Donovan Adams, the group the Mighty Spiritualaires has a unique sound that touches the heart of soul of those who listen. This young gospel group maintains a standard for the traditional gospel sound, while infusing a new and relevant musical approach. The Mighty Spiritualaires were influenced by the early southern quartets, have shared the stage with gospel quartet greats, and have networked with many national artists. Building a strong local and regional following, they only perform on weekends so that they can spend time with family and friends. The Mighty Spiritualaires merged musical talent with industry expertise forming their own label, 4Clouds Records dedicated to spreading the good news through anointed music, and being an instrument in taking gospel to the next level through ministry and education.
Entry #019 Duncan and Rachelle
Gospel Duo Duncan and Rachelle have been ministering since their youth. Atlantic County native Rev. Duncan P. Lane began singing at age 7, and his wife, Pleasantville native Rachelle Moore Lane began singing at age 5. Duncan was a member of many community gospel groups and choirs, and has served as male chorus choir director at his home church. Rachelle sang with various community choirs, including the NJ All South Jersey Chorus, founded the United Gospel Singers, and served as Minister of Music at their home church. The husband and wife team joined forces in April of 1988, and have been spreading the gospel through song throughout the eastern coast of the United States. They believe that the key to success is total commitment to Jesus Christ, and are determined to reach the lost, and encourage the saved by lifting up the name of Jesus in song.
